Setting left/right shortcut key

Read this if you want to learn how to add shortcut keys for BlueWhaleMail on Nokia N73 (or similar) phone.

Nokia phone allows users to configure which applications they want to access using softkeys in the stand-by mode. This page describes how to set BlueWhaleMail as one of these keys.

Setting left/right shortcut key

1. From the main menu go to "Tools" -> "Settings" -> "Phone" -> "Standby mode"

2. If you want to have BlueWhaleMail accessible from one the two softkeys - change Left Selection OR Right Selection key settings.

Adding BlueWhaleMail as one of the standby apps

If you prefer to have BlueWhaleMail application accessible from the Active Stand By screen, make sure that "Active Standby" is ON. Select "Active Standby"

3. Select which shortcut position you want the application to appear at and change the application. "Options" -> "Change"

5. Now you can access the application from the main Menu!
