BlueWhaleMail software uses the mobile data network (e.g. GPRS, 3G, EDGE) to send and receive email on your mobile phone. The charges will depend on your network operator and your data plan. Many network operator provide data plans available to pay-as-you-go and monthly subscription customers. It is usually more economical to subscribe to a data plan, since data pricing per MB without a data plan is normally unfavourable.
While BlueWhaleMail software tries to minimize data usage, we strongly recommend that you check with your network operator what the charges are. Please note that while your provider might offer a data package plan, when outside of your home network roaming charges apply
No. We've made a design decision to ensure that BlueWhaleMail doesn't need a permanent connection to the server. This has a number of benefits but at it's most general it means you can continue to read messages that have already been downloaded and submit replies where there is no connection available (e.g. the London Underground). Clearly you have to be back in network coverage for the replies to be sent...
