Read this if you try to use BlueWhaleMail on Nokia E50 (or similar) phone and it reports that there was a problem with your APN or a problem making a connection to the internet.
In order to be able to use the application, you need to check that your internet settings are set correctly. To do this, you have to have the correct APN settings set in your mobile phone and configure BlueWhaleMail client to use those settins.
There are two ways to add APN settings. You can do it through the phone settings page or directly from BlueWhaleMail application in the settings page.
Adding APN directly from BlueWhaleMail application
1. On the settings page, focus over Internet Access Point. Select "Options" -> "Change"
2. Select "Options" -> "New Access Point" -> "Use default settings"
3. Enter new APN data settings. If you don't know what information you should enter, please see the forum: What settings do I need for my network operator?
Once you entered the information, press "Back" and select new entry.
Adding APN from the phone settings
1. Open main Menu. Select "Settings" -> "Connections" -> "Access Points"
2. Select "Access Points" -> "Options"
3. Select "New Access Point" -> "Use default settings"
4. Enter new APN data settings. If you don't know what information you should enter, please see the forum: What settings do I need for my network operator?
5. Next time you start the appication, the APN account you entered will be available to select from the login screen.
