Downloading

Read this if you want to install BlueWhaleMail application on Nokia E50 (or similar) phone.

Downloading

1. On the BlueWhaleMail web site you need to complete the download form to get the latest software. If you have not already done so, please complete the form: Select "Send via SMS", "Nokia", "E50", select your country and enter your mobile number and press "Download"

Note: some advanced users may wish to download the software to their PC and then send it to their phone via cable or BlueTooth, or may even visit this web site using their phone's browser. In both cases, advanced users should select "Download to browser" andonce the software has been sent/downloaded to the phone, rejoin this proces at step 5 below.

2. Wait for the SMS message to arrive on your phone.

3. Open the SMS and click Options and select "Download Message"

4. The phone's Internet browser should start. Once the browser has loaded the BlueWhaleMail web page, select "Start download now".

Installing

5. When prompted to install - click "Yes", then click "Continue"

6. If prompted with a security warning, click "Yes" and the installation will start. If asked where to install the application, select Phone memory if possible instead of Memory Card. If in future you perform an upgrade of the software, please ensure you reinstall the software in the same location.

7. Exit out of the browser back to the main menu. Note that the BlueWhaleMail application is now available in Menu -> Installations -> BlueWhaleMail.

You have now successfully installed BlueWhaleMail. Now you need to go to step 2 and ensure that BlueWhaleMail can communicate with your email server.
