Hi KamikazeKitty,
Thanks for your kind words about BlueWhaleMail. The application is "smart" and will try and use any Access Point that it can, with a preference for that last one that it used (or better yet, WLAN if available). So to force it to use a particular Access Point requires a little work. (Disclaimer: please only try this if you're happy with editing Access Points!)
1. Stop the BlueWhaleMail application.
2. Disable all your other Access Points - my favoured approach is to add an "x" character to the end of all the access point names that you wish to disable (and WLAN network names if you have WLAN Access Points set up).
3. Start the BlueWhaleMail application, ensure you are sending and receiving email and/or Facebook items successfully.
4. Enable all your other Access Points again by undoing the change applied in step 2.
