Read this if you are trying to use the browser on your phone to download BlueWhaleMail software and get a connection error
If you are experiencing problems openning the download web page on your phone it could be for a variety of reasons.
- If you entered the web address manually, double check that the address you entered is correct. (Skip this step if you followed the link in the download Text Message.)
- Check that you can accesss some other site from your phone (e.g. http://www.bbc.co.uk/mobile). While it is unlikely, our server could be temporary unavailable.
- If you can not connect to any other web site, this could mean:
- Your phone is not configured correctly to access the internet. To configure your phone to use the Internet, please consult Nokia Connection Settings or SonyEricsson Connection Settings posts. If that does not help, please contact your service provider.
- You do not have the data plan activated on your phone. To check the prices for using data on your phone, please take a look at What are the costs with my network operator?. To enable data access on your phone, please contact your service provider.
- If you are on pay-as-you-go SIM, you might not have enough credit to access the internet.
If you cannot get your Internet connection to work, as an alternative solution, you could try downloading BlueWhaleMail software to your computer and transfering the file via BlueTooth or cable to your phone.
